Travel
The journey to Bornholm usually involves a ferry, from Ystad in Sweden, Køge in Denmark or Sassnitz in Germany. It is possible to fly to Bornholm with Danish Air Transport (DAT), they have flights from different places in Denmark, and also abroad. In ths summer there is also Alsiexpress from Sønderborg in Denmark. If you travel by coach or train from Copenhagen you will always cross over Sweden.

When the ferry arrives in Rønne follow the signs to the airport, Lufthavn, and from there further on to Dueodde. After about 25 km. you arrive at Snogebæk, where you should turn towards Nexø. After 1 km. there is a sign to Balka Strand. Follow it to the right (on to Boulevarden), and take the next road to the right (Vestre Strandvej). Continue 100 m. down the road, and Strandhotel Balka Søbad will be on your left side,
The Busses 6 and 8 go from Rønne Harbour and have stops on Balka. Bustransport takes about an hour.
The drive from Rønne Harbour is approx. 30 min.
